the inside dimensions of your rectangular workframe are This allows room to stretch the fabric and still be able to work to the edge of your design. Use soft timber -- you need to be able to press drawing pins (thumb tacks) into it without a big hammer! A good size of dressed timber is 19 x 19 cm. or 3/4" x 3/4", although, larger sized timber will result in a deeper frame, allowing you to stitch your fabric while the frame is flat on the table, without the needle point hitting the table surface. Corners can be butted or mitred, and nailed, screwed and/or glued. Click the 'BACK' Button to return. Home | What Is Bunka? | Picture Sizing |
