Embroidery Designs from Klema's Punch Embroidery.

Lorna and Stuart About nine years ago Stuart and Lorna Robinson began importing genuine Bunka Punch Embroidery kits into Australia.

Whilst the interest shown in the Japanese product was encouraging, the demand became evident for some designs with an
'Aussie' emphasis; such as well known birds and animals, scenes of the Darling Downs, Queenslander homesteads etc.

So began the Australian 'Klema' range, featured here at this website.

Genuine Bunka yarn is incorporated into all Klema kits to maintain the
highest quality, but other kit components are sourced within Australia.

Designs are adapted mainly from photographs of local features and from drawings and paintings by local artists.

All necessary accessories are also available, however in the case of wooden workframes, it is recommended that purchasers outside of Australia have their frames made locally, since the cost of cartage would be more than the total value of the frame. Also, some countries' Customs Regulations may restrict the importation of timber products. (Inside dimensions of the frame should be approximately one eighth larger than the picture size).
